What makes an apartment move cost more
A few things bump an apartment price, and we are upfront about all of them: a third- or fourth-floor walk-up with no elevator, a long carry from the parking lot, a downtown building that wants a Certificate of Insurance and a reserved elevator slot (Megan handles that for you), and the August Notre Dame rush when the whole town moves at once. Booking your campus or downtown move early in that window keeps it smooth and keeps the price down.
Student moves & between-semester storage
Students have their own rhythm, and we plan around it. A lot of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s, and Holy Cross students do not have the next place lined up when the semester ends in May, so we move them straight into clean, dry, climate-controlled storage and deliver in August when move-in week rolls around. One flat written rate covers the whole loop — move out, store, move back in.
